
Dr. Hnatow
Dr. Hnatow (pronounced “NATO”) is a native of South Texas. Born in San Antonio and raised in Carrizo Springs, he visited the Costal Bend frequently while growing up and fell in love with the area. After graduating from Carrizo Springs High School, Dr. Hnatow earned his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX where he met his wife Tiffany and graduated summa cum laude.
He spent the next 10 years training at the world’s largest medical center and the nation’s busiest trauma center in Houston, TX. During that time, he earned his medical degree and completed residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX. There he served as Chief Resident and later a Clinical Instructor of Orthopedic Surgery. During his training, he focused on orthopedic trauma and complex joint replacement. He brings years of experience and expertise from the big city to South Texas.
Dr. Hnatow is fellowship trained in Adult Reconstruction & Complex Hip and Knee Replacement.
Dr. Hnatow enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and their dog Penny. He likes spending time on the beach, camping, and hiking. He’s finished two half Ironman triathlons and aims to finish a full event.
